  • It is said that one of the funniest creations yet staged by the Equity folks is a farce called ”The Janitor’s Birthday,” wherein a goat butts in, and butts out the crowd; and it is claimed orders for the film are coming fast and furious.

    Billy B. Van says that what appealed to him most in taking the step from the stage to the studio was the one thought that he could at last be at home to vote, a long-cherished desire that the constant traveling of the star prevented.
